As it says 🙂 Still pushing through with these for the Orcs of Tock’s world, but life-things prevented me from posting in a timely manner this weekend.
So here we go, with catchup:
As I’ve talked about before on Patreon, these Orcs are nomadic hunter-gatherers. So I imagine this lady got her timing messed up and kept foraging beyond the time that her people were supposed to regroup and start packing up camp, and now she had to hurry back to them (….by the look on her face, I feel like this happens to her a lot).
Pretty self-explanatory – though I did have something very different in mind for this one (Onna singing to Tock and Bumble, actually. She has a lovely singing voice, which hasn’t come up in the comic yet…… and I’m impatient….. ).
But the busy-ness of this weekend manifested this, instead, and I’m actually very pleased with how she came out.
Maybe most Orcs don’t sing, and as such, this lady is surprised to hear music in the forest…
Seven, “Fight” (and Sunday Gnomedays 10-7-18)
As I’ve also mentioned before, the Orcs and the Gnomes have a pretty good trade relationship that has existed for a while. Most of the time, such visits go smoothly… but sometimes, not as much!
By the way – in order to keep things interesting (and manageable) as I fulfill each prompt, all Sunday drawings will be combined with Sunday Gnomedays, and all Wednesday drawings will be combined with World Building Wednesdays.
Day 8 will be up later today ❤
This week, we’re talking about how Gnomish/Orcish trade usually happens.
I’ve gotten a little behind on things this past week, so here’s the first answer to an “Ask Tock” question. It comes from Andy:
“How do the various peoples of your world get on? Is there any emnity or even open hostility between races or cultures?”
To ask Tock a question, e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a comment/send me a message here 🙂
