Goodbye Notes

~** Happy Seven Years of Tock again! **~

My intention today was to post an old sketch of Tock’s mother confronting a friend of Tock’s about where she’s gone – BUT, I forgot that I had un-canon’d that, to make Tock’s leaving of them more responsible.

As such, here’s two newly-canon Goodbye Notes – the one Tock left for her parents, and the one Bumble left for his family.

Hope you enjoy them, and stay tuned for even more goodies next week! ❤

“Mother’s Heart” and “Father’s Eyes”

Two pieces for this Mother’s Day and Father’s Day for my own parents, featuring Tock (and tiny Tock!) with her own parents.

I don’t get to show very much of them in the comic, but they are very important to her, so I wanted to honor that somehow for my own folks.

For more information on their story, see here and here’s another adorable sketch of them, too.

Tock’s Parents, part 6

Years went by with no luck. After some time, they began to think one or both of them might be barren.

Then, finally, they were blessed with a single baby girl.

They named her Tock, and gave her everything they could provide, with quite a lot of love (and leeway) since she had been so difficult to have.

And, so far, they’ve lived happily ever after.

Tock’s Parents, part 5

Time passed, they married and bought a small shop to sell their jewelry out of, with an apartment above it for them to live in.

Eventually, as their work became more successful, they started to try and build a family.

Tock’s Parents, part 4

Finding that they had the same plan, they began working together – at first, just as friends.

That did not last very long.
