Someone’s being a bit too flourishy ^^;

(More context on that here.)

Aaaaaaaaaand ANNOUNCEMENT TIME!!!

orclanguageguide_01_01_wm_patreon

The Orcish Language Guide is finally available, on Patreon! Click here to check it out.

A note about design changes:

As they appear on this and the following pages, the Orcs’ dwellings are completely culturally appropriated from Mongolian culture. I was not as socially aware when I started this part of the story as I am now, and I am truly sorry for having done this. I have since redesigned the Orcs’ tents and will be reposting these pages with updated panels as soon as possible.

In the meantime, the artwork for those updated panels is viewable here.

Design process for the new tents is viewable here, here and here.

One new page for JuneFae after all!!
Getting back to understandable dialogue too – it looks like the Orcish Language Guide will be a July thing, after all, so Onna will be our guide in the meantime ;p
Also, as for those angry red eyes in panel two – this was supposed to have shown up before, but the scan doesn’t show it very well (even after photoshopping it, for some reason). Still, if you please, take a look again and keep that in mind for current events…
Thank you, dear readers, for your patience. Hope you enjoy ❤

The angst continues…..

Also continuing to use Orcish un-translated, since it’ll be important HOW they handle Tock and Bumble’s lack of understanding. Hopefully that doesn’t feel like it’s taking too long, dear readers – let me know if it’s dragging, and I will let you know when the Orcish Language Guide is available, too!

As I mentioned last time, some of these angry new faces will be familiar to you if you’ve read the “Meanwhile…” bonus scene (available to all patrons, along with many other goodies).

Finally. In more ways than one.
Some of these angry new faces will be familiar to you if you’ve read the “Meanwhile…” bonus scene (available to all patrons btw) , and I am very excited for this confrontation, let me tell you.
Also that Tol and his delightful beard are back. SO much fun to draw.
Aaaaand two reminders:
If you missed my post on Orcish Mouth Improvement, I have a VERY casual tutorial up here.
And don’t forget there’s a special going on until May 1st – if you pledge before then, you get an exclusive print! As well as access to all bonuses at whatever level you choose, of course. More info through the link.

Well, someone’s had enough of this conversation she can’t understand.

Also – backgrounds, wooo! After so many pages of very little background, this was a challenge and I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. Between that and the rush of action in the first 4 panels (and those being so tightly packed together) I really wanted this page to snap us right back into the reality of what’s going on – i.e. the very real, potential danger for all three of our heroes. We’ve gotten to focus on just the mystery of Onna’s situation a bit for the last few pages, but there is a lot more going on than her reluctance and Tock’s curiosity.

Also also please, if you’re interested in me posting a translation guide for the Orcish, raise your hand!

Hmmmm, curious…..

(And Bumble continues to question his current circumstances.)
