Happy Pride Month everyone ❤
This piece counts as June’s Ranger level bonus for my patrons – viewable now, for all, as part of the Open House !
ALSO, as a special treat, all new and existing patrons at any pledge level will get a print of this image in the mail (along with a bonus sticker)! If you’re not pledging yet, just sign up by midnight on Sunday 6/30 to get one for yourself! ❤
Time for another (usually) patrons-only world building post, dear readers! However, remember that this month, all new posts are public for a Junefae/Pride Month Open House!
This week we’re looking at a lost Gnomish creation tale….
I’ve also made all previous posts on Gnomish religion available publicly, for extra context – link to those is at the bottom of the story!
Time for another patrons-only world building post, dear readers! However – because of this month’s Open House, it is available to read for all!
This week, we’re going to look at what happens when a faerie-being closest to the Heart of Faerie falls out of alignment with that spiritual flow – becoming ‘the Drifted.”
Design for this particular Drifted comes from AcronaSilverFox on dA ❤ Click here to see her original post on the design, which I was lucky enough to adopt! (And please enjoy this bonus Actia, too. Haven’t gotten to draw her in a while, so I hope it’s as refreshing for you to see her as it was for me to draw her!)
In honor of this very Faerie of months, we’re having an open house!
From today until June 30th, ALL Patreon updates – meaning bonus posts at all levels – will be posted publicly, so non-patrons will get to see what benefits come with supporting this comic 😀 At the end of the month, existing patrons and any new patrons will get an extra treat by regular mail, too!
The first post each month, by the way, is an exclusive drawing of Mariatu – frequently featured in in backstory bonus posts. Most of the time that is a pencil drawing, not finished like this (but I wanted to do something special today).
And happy Junefae, everyone!
(On that note, of course, Mermay is over – catchup posting will commence soon <3)
A note about design changes:
As they appear on some previous and the following pages, the Orcs’ dwellings were at first completely culturally appropriated from Mongolian culture. I was not as socially aware when I started this part of the story as I am now, and I am truly sorry for having done this. I have since redesigned the Orcs’ tents and will be reposting these pages with updated panels as soon as possible.
In the meantime, the artwork for those updated panels is viewable here.
