Some self-care sketching from yesterday, during a much needed low-key late morning/afternoon. Featuring Arella from the backstory of Tock’s world – another bonus (more angsty) drawing of her is available now on Patreon, and more on her in general available here 🌹
Some random inspiration from our hero herself.
I, for one, am very hard on myself when I’m less than perfect. But none of us are, and that’s okay. What’s important is to learn from our mistakes, apologize when necessary, and keep on loving ourselves (and each other) anyway.
So I hope this helps you too, if you’ve been having a hard time with these things.
(Page 87 is on its way, by the way! WIPs are available at Patreon. Link below.)
From Tock and all the rest of the crew ❤
Thank you for reading her story and helping me be part of the comics world (the BEST form of storytelling imho), and thank you to all the writers, artists and comic book stores that made today awesome!
“WIP Wednesday,” that is, with some bonus art progress!
I don’t get to show off Tock’s plumpness very much in the comic, due to the fun of corsets (really the only other times we’ve gotten to see it are in “Resurgam” and these two patron bonus pieces, “Tock’s Carwen Altar” and “Moonlight Stroll at the Camp”).
But in interest of getting to do that – since the need for me to push the body-positivity of the series has been brought VERY much to my attention lately – I’m redoing an old sketch of her daydreaming.
More WIP of this will be available for all patrons on Patreon as I go, btw. And don’t forget about the exclusive print special – only available for 12 more days!
Sometimes progress is finishing a comic page or a grand, complicated commission.
Sometimes progress is a tiny ink drawing of your main character looking more hopeful than you expected.
(Slowly getting back to work after a rough week. More WIP available at Patreon, as always, link is below ❤ )
