Happy Thank You Patrons Day! <3

thankyoupatrons2019_tockthegnome
Happy #thankyoupatrons day!
The fact that anyone is willing to subscribe to help me further Tock’s story means the WORLD to me. Without you, it would be a LOT harder for me to keep drawing her forward. Your support helps pay my expenses as I need to replace art supplies, keep my house lighted and heated, keep the internet on to I can do the research I need to make her world stronger and better (and, you know, post anything in the first place!).
Suffice it to say, “Tock the Gnome” would not be happening without YOU.
So, my deepest gratitude, always.
(And those of you who are already Patrons – stay tuned for a new bonus illustration and unwatermarked version of the drawing above, posting on Patreon later today ❤ …and those of you who aren’t, click below to sign up!)

Thanks for your patience with updates, too -if the slow updates bother you, keep in mind that we’re getting closer to my first goal here on Patreon, $50 monthly, which means I would guarantee a new page each month!! So if you’re not pledging yet but enjoy reading Tock’s story, please do consider signing up!

Promo – World Building Wednesday 38

20190403_182309
This week, inspired by Mariatus circumstances, we’re looking at the Elven religious structure, specifically their temples and one thing that can happen there.

And here we have it. But is that better, or worse, for poor Onna?

A note about design changes:

As they appear on some previous pages, the Orcs’ dwellings were at first completely culturally appropriated from Mongolian culture. I was not as socially aware when I started this part of the story as I am now, and I am truly sorry for having done this. I have since redesigned the Orcs’ tents and will be reposting these pages with updated panels as soon as possible.

In the meantime, the artwork for those updated panels is viewable here.

Design process for the new tents is viewable here, here and here.

Looks like Tock has figured something out – can you guess what it is? 🙂

(Shameless bonus promotion – those of you who are Patrons should be able to figure out some of what’s being said here with the Orcish Language Guide! There are quite a few new words in here, which will be updated in part 2 of the Guide soon.)
