Announcing preorder availability for “Tock the Gnome: The Rescue Quest” printed issue 2!!
As with issue 1, this second issue will feature existing pages of the comic (pages 25 to 57, a total of 33 pages) with new cover art and written, illustrated bonus scenes that will not be available anywhere else.
Ever wonder what Tock and Bumble’s first couple of days cohabitating on the Bucket were like?
How about the life and fate of the bird that attacked them?
And what about the argument Onna was recalling before she ambushed them?
Answers to those questions, with exclusive art, will be available in this issue!
All preorders will be available at a discounted rate – $8 instead of $10 – and come with an exclusive, personalized sketch inside the cover. Available now through May 1st, with issues shipping by May 5th!
Almost to a resolution ~ but, then!
Thank you for your patience in waiting for this page, I know it’s been a couple months ^^; That said – we’re very close to my first goal on Patreon, $50 monthly, for which I would guarantee a new page each month!! So if you’re not pledging yet but enjoy reading Tock’s story, please do consider signing up!
And as far as this page goes, I am very pleased with it myself, especially that first panel. Lots of little storytelling details in where everyone is looking 😉
And and, as I mentioned last page, The Orcish Language Guide is finally available! Click here to check it out. (Some of the words on today’s page are new, but they will be added as soon as possible.)
Lastly – Happy Orctober, too!!! I will be participating in that, even though I’m having a bit of a late start. More about that on my Instagram.
As it says on the tin – from now on, each Wednesday will feature a new world building post for patrons only.
Ta daaaaaaaa!!! Contains the first 24 pages of the existing comic, with three bonus written and illustrated scenes not available online!
Thank you for checking it out and your continued support.

From Tock and all the rest of the crew ❤
Thank you for reading her story and helping me be part of the comics world (the BEST form of storytelling imho), and thank you to all the writers, artists and comic book stores that made today awesome!
As it says on the tin – on August 30th, 2010, this project was officially launched and “Tock the Gnome” was born ❤
I am so very grateful to everyone who’s kept an eye on the comic and everything else related to Tock’s world – and as such, this month leading up to her ‘birthday’ will be filled with lots of bonus content! Stay tuned for more bonus art, bonus story snippets, a look back at what got this project started in the first place, and a special surprise on the 30th itself!
If there’s anything that you’re curious about or would like to see, please leave a comment or send me a note. Also, page 78 is well on its way and will certainly be part of the celebration. And in the meantime, lots of existing goodies are available already over on Patreon.
Thank you, always, for your support dear readers! I hope you look forward to what this August brings.

Hi everyone. Here’s a little bit of the next page again – progress has been really slow lately as I have some Big Art News going on that applies to all my Faerie work, not just Tock. I’ve been invited to vend, as in selling prints of my work, at a local festival!
That’s Gnome and Fairy Fest, here in Ithaca, NY, on October 1st. Two weeks from today, oh my goodness. Most of my art time lately has therefore been going to the production of those prints and other items for sale at my booth, as well as to making coloring page images that I’ll have available for free there, to draw people in! (The people planning the festival are just lovely, and so community minded, so they’re big on each booth having an activity if possible.)
Obviously, much of what I’ll be featuring involves Tock and her crew, so I will share more once I have more prints made, etc. There’s even going to be a sign promoting the comic and business cards just for Tock, so I’ll be uploading the illustration I did for that card soon.
And in the meantime, thanks for your patience and for keeping an eye out for Tock’s adventures here ❤
(And and, if you want to see more previews of the next page and the thumbnails of the next four pages, please check out my patreon!)
