Time for another patrons-only world building post, dear readers!
This week, inspired by the nature in which I celebrate St. Paddy’s Day, here’s a look at the Selkie folk of Tock’s world, and how their closest neighbors – the Elves – tend to view them.
Prompted by my participation in Fairy Fae Week over on Instagram (….whaaaat? This one’s only 7 days, not 30 😅). Today’s prompt was Light or Dark, and I went with both. Previous/following prompts will be posted here sometime later this week.
As I’ve mentioned before, the Elves of Tock’s world see morality very differently than other races. They are very aware of the balance necessary between Light and Dark, comfort and sorrow, peace and pain….
Reminders – “Tock the Gnome” is available to read for free both here and on Patreon (where there is much bonus art, story and world-building to boot), so please do check it it out if you haven’t yet! ~ Also, call for artists is still open for “Prints for Pam-a-Lamb.” ~ And prints of my own work, comic books, coloring books and needlefelted OOAK dolls are available anytime on Etsy.
Time for another patrons-only world building post, dear readers! Aaaaand something a little bit different this week – building the backstory of the Gnome Queen, one small secret at a time. Here’s something she went through when she was younger….
Time for another patrons-only world building post! Continuing the theme of last week, where a certain heroine met a certain creature that doesn’t exist on her mountain…
In all the Orctober rush, I missed this week’s World Building Wednesday! Since it focused on a bit more of their nomadic culture, though, the Orctober post that fell on that day DOES count!
So for this week, let’s take a closer at the Orcish mounts, the Hogdragons.
(And more Orctober List catching-up will come later. There was a bit of a snafu with yesterday’s prompt.)
Time for another Patrons-only world building post! AND Happy Orctober the third: Rain.
This week we’re looking at what the Orcs of Tock’s world do when it rains.
Aaaaaaand Orctober the second, Flower. Featuring Onna’s glorious hair.
