In all the Orctober rush, I missed this week’s World Building Wednesday! Since it focused on a bit more of their nomadic culture, though, the Orctober post that fell on that day DOES count!
So for this week, let’s take a closer at the Orcish mounts, the Hogdragons.
(And more Orctober List catching-up will come later. There was a bit of a snafu with yesterday’s prompt.)
Time for another Patrons-only world building post! AND Happy Orctober the third: Rain.
This week we’re looking at what the Orcs of Tock’s world do when it rains.
Aaaaaaand Orctober the second, Flower. Featuring Onna’s glorious hair.
Time for another Patrons-only world building post! This week we’re looking at magic again – specifically, the cultures that have it, and why that is so.
As has been implied, the Gnomes of Tock’s world do not have magic. Magical forces show up in some of their legends, and they hear stories of it existing in other cultures – especially in the Lowlands – but it has been a long, LONG time since any such force was present in their own kind. And as we’ve seen, the Orcs don’t appear to have magic, either.
So, if magic exists, where is it and why do its keepers still have it, if the Orcs and Gnomes don’t?
Time for another patrons-only world building post!
This week we’ll be looking a bit more at the Brogh – specifically how they use magic in battle, since they do have access to it.
Here’s a little preview:
“As I’ve implied before, the Brogh are more of a peaceful nature than not, but with the Orcs attacking them so often they do have to defend themselves. As such, they have developed several forms of defensive magic (a literal first line of defense, just trying to keep them out altogether) and enhancement magic, for themselves and their weapons, when the defensive measures fail….”
One day late, my apologies! Here’s yesterday’s patrons-only world-building post.
This week we’re looking a little bit at the quietness of this tree, and it’s forest….

Belatedly, but here we are! (And I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s placeholder bonus drawing.)
Anyway, time for another patrons-only World Building post! This week, we’re looking at the Orcs 😀 Specially, a little bit about their territory, a very little bit about their religion, and what happens when they settle in a new area for a while.

Time for another patrons-only World Building post, dear readers! (Remember, these bonuses are available to ALL patrons, no matter what level, so I hope you all get curious!)
This week we’re returning to the Gnomes a little bit, to look more at religion – specifically, that of their goddess of Love and Creation, Carwen.
